Roon is excited to announce the launch of our Pioneer Fellowship — where twenty healthcare professionals will learn how to become medical content creators in a cohort environment, while creating accessible, high-quality content for patients and caregivers.

All selected fellows will receive a monthly stipend of $1,000. There will be one weekly, virtual meeting with lectures and group workshops. You will learn skills in content production from experts in film, medicine, and social media. Content created during the fellowship will be featured on Roon’s platform reaching patients and caregivers in one of our four starting conditions: glioblastoma multiforme, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, dementia, and long COVID.

Applications are rolling with our first round of evaluations starting April 15th.

We started by helping people navigate Glioblastoma and are now expanding to ALS, dementia, and long COVID. Everything we do starts with a deep understanding of patient and caregiver needs. And everything we create combines medical expertise with the lived experiences . We are patients and caregivers building for patients and caregivers.

What is a medical content creator?

A medical content creator is anyone with expertise and a passion for teaching who brings their knowledge to a broad audience via social media. At Roon, we are working with top medical content creators who are leading experts in their field from institutions including Harvard, Columbia, UCSF, and Stanford. They are already sharing their insights on our platform with patients and caregivers every day. The Pioneer Fellowship will help train the next generation of top creators.
